Mr Charlie Talbot

Charlie Talbot is a Consultant Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon in Harrogate.
Charlie graduated from the University of Leeds in 2000, and entered into surgical training in the Yorkshire region. After completing a postgraduate Masters (MSc) by Research in Mechanical Engineering Charlie was appointed to the Yorkshire Orthopaedics and Trauma higher surgical training programme.
Charlie quickly developed an interest in Upper Limb, Sports and Arthroscopic surgery and went on to achieve his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (Trauma and Orthopaedics) in 2010. Charlie progressed to Fellowship training in Upper Limb Surgery at the internationally renowned Wrightington Upper Limb unit and then at the Sheffield Shoulder and Elbow unit.
Charlie Talbot has interest in research and has published many articles in peer reviewed Orthopaedic journals. Charlie believes in research that involves populations of patients being treated by populations of surgeons and follows an evidence-based practice.
Charlie has a number of teaching roles and regularly teaches junior surgeons. Charlie lectures on Shoulder and Elbow conditions and teaches on practical shoulder courses.
Charlie Talbot was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust in 2012. Since then Charlie has developed a busy arthroscopic (keyhole) shoulder and elbow NHS service, along with providing an upper limb trauma service.
Charlie is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS), British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) and British Trauma Society (BTS). Charlie is also a member of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and the Stewards Enclosure at Henley Royal Regatta (HRR).
Charlie Talbot is a member of the Yorkshire Orthopaedics and Spinal Surgery (YOSS) group.
